Staying hydrated!

April 6, 2023

Tips to increase #Hydration

  • Keep a water bottle with you, try freezing it and sipping on it during the day
  • Try cold refreshing fruit infused water with lemon, lime, cucumber or mint.
  • 8 cups of water a day still holds true for most, this can include milk or juices (no caffeine containing beverages or soda, as they are dehydrating)
  • Try Fruit based frozen treats
  • Eat your water! Fruit is hydrating! Melons, apples, Pineapples, grapes etc. Hydrate while getting fiber and nutrition.
  • Offer water to kids throughout the day. Aging decreases the sense for thirst and kids may be just too busy to stop and drink.
  • Drink extra water due to heat, illness or increased physical activity.

Hydration Fun Fact: On Average, our bodies are made up of over 70% water.
